12 Days of Christmas at Bugaboo - Day #10!

On the 10th day of challenges the Catch the Bug Blog gave to me ....
a challenge to make a masculine card! Easy peasy. I've got some people I need to make cards for so this challenge is perfect!
Here is my card:
Don't forget to play along, there are lots of prizes to be won. You have until Dec 16th to play!
Have a great night, thanks for looking.

12 Days of Christmas at Bugaboo - Day #11!

Here we are, the second last challenge over at the Catch the Bug Blog, 11 pipers piping. The challenge today is to use plaid.
My first thought, plaid? Uh Oh.
You'd think this Scottish girl would have tons of plaid stashed away. Let's see... fabric? Nope. Paper? Nope. Ribbon? Nope. So I looked high and low and came across one single lonely piece of plaid stashed away in my scrap pile. I almost missed it-lol.
So here is my 'plaid card' for my little friends baby boy. Thanks for looking :)

12 Days of Christmas at Bugaboo - Day #12!

I can't believe it's been 12 days of challenges already at the Catch the Bug blog!
If you haven't played along you have 4 more days, so hurry and enter so you can win some free digis.
Day 12 challenge-be inspired by a Christmas song. I chose the song "We wish you a Merry Christmas"

Thanks for looking :)

12 days of Christmas at Bugaboo, day 8

Although I do own a  few tons of Bugaboo stamps I was a little stumped for the day 8 challenge: use the theme of milk and cookies. Yes, the 'go to' would be Santa but I wanted to think a little outside the box.
Here is what I came up with
inside reads " when Santa has to bring his own milk and cookies'. Get it cows (milk) and cookies in his sleigh-tee hee.
The cows are the Bugaboo image 'Holy cow'. I removed the halo (hope that's allowed) and staggered them on my paper. I used a sleigh digi from Birds Cards, coloured it, then added embossing glitter to it.
Only 4 days left in the challenges, hurry and play along to win some awesome prizes!

12 days of Christmas at Bugaboo, day 9

The 12 days of Christmas of Bugaboo is winding down. You have  until Dec 16th to complete all the challenges and possibly win some cool prizes. Today is challenge 9, make a feminine card. Here is the card I came up with. I think it turned out pretty cute-must have been that cute Bugaboo digi I used ;)
I sparkled her hat and added some pearls (that may or may not have been added to hide the glitter glue that spilled)  Hope you play along!

12 days of Christmas at Bugaboo, day 3

Wowwy! It's time to play along with Bugaboo stamps on the Catch the Bug Blog! It's the 12 days of Christmas challenge, day 3. The challenge is to use an animal so I chose to use this digi of Jesus and the lamb. I truly believe the sentiment I wrote and I am so thankful for all the blessings in my life :)
May you know His love and peace at Christmas time and always xox

12 days of Christmas at Bugaboo, day 4

It's time for day 4 of the Bugaboo challenge. Have you started playing along? You have until Dec 16th to enter all challenges and win cool prizes! Day 4's challenge is to use a bird. My card uses some left over scraps, part of a baby card I started then discarded and an uber cute penguin from Bugaboo! Thanks for looking.

12 days of Christmas at Bugaboo, day 5

Bling, Bling, Bling-otherwise known as 5 golden rings!
Hello, welcome to my blog :) I hope you are enjoying playing along with Bugaboo's 12 days of Christmas. Today I am entering my card into the day 5 challenge -use gold in your card.
This was hard for me as I am using up my stash and I have NOTHING gold. SO I had to get creative and this is what I came up with:
I ended up using my gold sharpie marker to colour in the shoes! I also added a little glitter on the berries. You have until Dec 16th to enter all 12 of the challenges, hope to see your creations there!

12 days of Christmas at Bugaboo, day 6

Here is my entry for day 7-7 swans a swimming. The challenge was to create a card from the inspiration image.

I used the 'little penguin winter bench' digi from Bugaboo. I thought this image was perfect as it had the birds and greenery like the inspiration image. I added the computer generated sentiment and outlined it with red to mimic the ribbon. Thanks for looking :)

A new challenge blog (for me), right up my alley!

I find a new love. A new challenge blog that is :) It's called Shopping Our Stash. Hello!!! This is what my whole blog adventure is about. If you've never been here, here is the lowdown. I'm on a quest to create using ONLY my stash. So far I've been really good, and its been killing me. Alas, there still is no sight of my craft room floor but one day my hubbie will see it again.....one day. (actually he's really good about it)
Anywho, here is my entry to the Stash challenge. We were to use a digi and a sentiment on our card. What I used from my stash was scraps (see that scallop thing?) and everything else basically-lol. Image is from Bugaboo.
The challenge just started today so you have lots of time to play along. Thanks for looking!

Silver, Black, and Bling at Catch the Bug

Nope, not time to dress up all pretty like, just another wicked challenge from Bugaboo!
The challenge: use silver, black, and bling in your card.
Easy peasy right? Well, I don't have any silver paper. As you know (if you've been here before) I am on a quest to use up my stash before I purchase a new so I had to get creative. Bling is on the snowflake and glittered on the snowman. Black is the card base, as well as , on the DP (designer paper). The silver ended up being some wired ribbon I had laying around. Voila! Challenge complete :)
Lots of time to play along so go get a craftin'!!

ABC Christmas Challenge

Well I'm on the exploration front again today and found this challenge blog ABC Christmas Challenge.
The challenge is to case a previous DT (design team) member's card and recreate it (x is for xerox is the name of the challenge) WOW was it hard to pick. They have some awesome cards and I will certainly be spending more time browsing for ideas :) The card I found to case was in a challenge called  R is for Recycling (use ribbon/rhinestone as an added bonus). The card I chose is from DT member Delphine. I loved the simplicity of it-but wowzers check out her colouring. AMAZING!
Here is my card, details below:
I coloured an image from Bugaboo and added rhinestones to some of his lights. I adhered that onto acetate adding bling to the corners like Delphine did. The background was stamped with SU stamps with white stazon. The ribbon had to placed on the top so the actetate would hold. It really looks much better in person, it was hard to get a picture without a glare :(
Thanks for looking and don't forget to play along!
