This week the challenge at (Dustin) Pike's Playground is to make a card around the theme "my life is a zoo"
Well, that certainly is a true statement at our house! Especially with March Break this week with the monkeys being home (Caa-ra-zy!)
I used several images I had picked up from Dustin last time he had a fabulous sale. I cut them out, popped some of them up, and made a card suited for our family to give
Dustin is also having a great sale on, so pop on over and join the fun :)

Cards for a Cause-Dustin Pike
Dustin Pike is at it again! (Bless his heart)
Last card rally he had his followers send cards to a boy who was ill named Dylan, this time round he asked us to send cards to a child named Emily. You can read about his post here
I used Wednesday card sketch from The Outlawz for my card.
Of course I added a little glitter and bling-what girl wouldn't love that!
I hope you will join in and send a card along to Emily to brighten her day. As an added bonus to doing a wonderful deed, you get the image above for free.
Have a great day!

Dustin Pike challenge at Pike's Playground!
I am a big fan of Dustin Pike's work. I love his adorable characters and he has such a creative DT!
This week at Pike's Playground, Dustin had revealed some super HUGE news....if you play along, you get a free image! How cool is that?
My card uses a knight digi that I glittered. I wrote the following sentiment on the card "Sometimes your knight in shining armor......"
and on the inside "...turns out to be an idiot in tin-foil!"
I have no idea where that saying came from but I love it! Awesome saying to give to a brokenhearted girlfriend!
Thanks for looking :)

Nativity Card
These cute little digi's are from Dustin Pike. It was fun doing all the colouring and popping them up on dimensionals. I think i may go back and add some bling to the star. See that stamped SU sentiment? I hate when I make a card and the sentiment doesn't stamp perfectly. In hind site I should have embossed it so you could see it better. I was trying to keep the main focus on Jesus so I didn't want it to dark-but it didn't work out. Thank goodness crafting is so forgiving! I'm going to stamp it on another piece of brown card, cut it to size and voila-it's fixed :)
Merry Christmas everyone!
