More Coffee Please Challenge entry
This fun little coffee girl image came from the Hambo Hoedown challenge blog, free for playing along last week. And speaking of last week...guess what I won :)
Yeah me! I won this bad boy by using my Elephant glittery birthday card :) Anywho, here is this week's image
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Hambo Hoedown - use this image and follow the sketch
Card Ideas - colour challenge using chocolate, caramel and any other colour (purple used here)
Crafts4eternity- embellishment challenge-use fabric (handmade flower), button (inside flower), and beads (2 on top right corner)
Now if you really knew me, you know I hate coffee (can't even stand the smell) so what am I going to do with this card? I am going to give it to the lady at our coffee break ministry who comes 45 minutes early each time to make coffee, tea, and water for the ladies. She is such a sweetie :)
It's not to late to play along! Click on the links above and join in! Have a great night :)

It's hambo challenge time! Elephant card
It's that time again for another awesome Hambo Challenge. This week the free digi was a cute birthday elephant and the challenge was glitter. HELLO-who doesn't make a kids card with glitter? Certainly not me-lol!
Click on the Hambo link above to check out the challenge.
For my card I printed 3 copies of the elephant and popped each section up-an easy and affective way to add depth to a card. The background paper is glittery, his hat is glitter, and I added glitter to the inside of the green circle. (Ya know, just in case there wasn't enough already-teehee)

Dotted puppy mini card
Last week I made an attempt to enter the Meljens Designs challenge blog. They gave us an adorable free puppy digi to use. Unfortunately with my DT obligations I didn't have time to finish it. Yes, it is true I don't craft 24-7. Maybe in my next life-teehee. Anywho, this week their challenge was to use their image and incorporate dots. So I made my puppies dotted, turned my card into a bone (you can see the shape of the bone once opened) and put the word smile on the front. My son LOVED the dog digi and so inside I worte "mommy loves you"
Have a great day and remember to smile, it's contagious!

Find your own Style Card for Scrapbooking and Crafting Friends
I have joined a Design Team for Scrapbooking and Crafting friends. They have a cool sponsor called My Grafico. Have you heard of it? Well, they have various designers and lots of freebies too. Here is the link to the images I used in my card, designed by ReviDevi :
http://www.mygrafico.com/illustrations-cliparts/a-la-mode-silhouette/prod_3669.html
These images are all silhouettes which was something new for me to use. But... I loved it! It really made me think outside the box on how to dress up my card. So here it is
I used lots of little gems to tie the pieces together, outlined the images to make them stand off the white background. I also took scrap paper and pieced together a skirt adding a little bow for a final touch.
Hope this gives you inspiration, have a great night!

Delightful inspiration challenge
Well spring is almost here and Faith has given us a freebie to use this week called Lucky Bird. Want some free stamps? Come play along and you'll get one sent to you next week. Check out the deets here:
http://designed2delight.blogspot.com/
Here is my card for the challenge:
For the background I used some paper I had hanging around. I added pearls and glitter to the flower and sentiment (unfortunately it smeared) Tip: wait til your ink dries before you put your glitter on! The bird is popped up and so is the sentiment. I edged the side with a punch from SU and chalked around the card with blue. Now I confess, this uber cute bird had a clover in his mouth but I found it was to much with the flower background. Have a great day!!
